The program cost includes the following:
-One UMBC course taught by Dr. Ivan Erill, associate professor in Biological Sciences, UMBC (BIOL 316L or BIOL 216L)
-Housing in Barcelona with local families (half-board) or at a residence. Laundry, TV and Internet included
-Some meals
-Pre-paid smart-phone for local calls
-Cultural activities in Barcelona (fees included)
-Site visits to biomedical research centers in Barcelona
-Day trips to Figueres, Girona, Tarragona and the beach
